Relic \Rel"ic\ (r?l"?k), n. [F. relique, from L. reliquiae, pl.,
akin to relinquere to leave behind. See {Relinquish}.]

1. That which remains; that which is left after loss or
decay; a remaining portion; a remnant. --Chaucer. Wyclif.
